The Merciful HELP Center’s Coat Ministry works in conjunction with Hamilton County Kids Coats. This is OLMC’s largest and most visible ecumenical project! We work with Carmel United Methodist Church, St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Grace Community Church, and Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church to provide coats and winter wear (hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, snow pants, and boots) to people in need in Hamilton County. Last year almost 2,000 people received assistance at the giveaway in November. The Merciful HELP Center provided an additional 400 individuals with coats from November – January. |
